In 2010, we are looking forward to the continuing opportunity to grow and improve our CSA program.  With the knowledge of the past years under our belts we anticipate making much progress this year, particularly in the area of season extension.  Hopefully this coming year will be a record year when it comes to providing you with a variety of produce earlier in the spring and later in the fall.

We hope that the chart on this page will help you to get a rough idea of the vegetables and fruits you can expect to receive at particular times of the year.  In keeping with the idea that your weekly box is a direct representation of what is fresh and in season you can expect more variety of fresh produce in the summer and early fall months and more root vegetables and storage crops in the late fall and winter.  As is the case on any farm, there are always unforeseeable challenges and changes that arise so we can never guarantee that you will receive a specific crop at a specific time.   We can, however, guarantee that we will do our best to provide you with fresh, conscientiously-grown fruits and vegetables every week.  You can also expect to receive our own homemade value-added products in your weekly shares as well as products from other local producers, some examples of which are listed below.

This crop availability chart is specifically designed for our CSA program and it is important to note that some of these crops are available for longer or shorter periods of time for wholesale and retail customers.

Our own home made value-added products include:

-Sauerkraut
-Pesto
-Salsa
