As fruit growers, we feel fortunate to be growing fruit on such beautiful land, therefore sharing our knowledge and place with other excites and energizes us.
Tours at Champlain Orchards offer insights into the longest continuously running orchard in Vermont. Less than a mile from Lake Champlain, we enjoy incredible views of the lake and the Adirondacks beyond. Throughout the summer and fall, we guide tours tailored to visitors’ interests – whether walking up in the orchard while discussing apple and fruit orchard planning and management; picking your own apples, cherries, berries, or plums; hearing a narration about making sweet cider; or learning about cider apples and our hard & ice ciders at the Champlain Orchards Cidery.
After the tour, visitors can choose to sample unique varieties of apples and other fruits (in season), apple butter, apple pie, cider donuts, hard cider, ice cider, sweet cider, and more. Visitors may also decide to take a break on the swing on our covered porch or enjoy a picnic on the hill.
We charge $5.00/person for groups (minimum of $50.00, or 10 people) including some samples, though we do not charge the driver and group leader. To schedule a tour with us, please send us a request through our Contact Us page or call us at 802 897 2777. We look forward to your visit!
Jane and Dave, our splendid sales team, travel far and wide each week to bring our Hard Cider goodness (along with their extensive knowledge of our products) straight to your town. Please check out our Events page to see when we'll be nearest to you.
Or conduct a tasting of your own! You can download our infographics here, and find our products on this map.
