Honeyed Cherry Daiquiri


  • 8 sweet or tart cherries, pitted

  • 2 oz. white rum

  • 3/4 oz. fresh lime juice, plus slice for garnish

  • 1 tbsp. Honey

  • Dash of bitters (such as Peychaud’s or Angostura)

  • 1/4 oz. Luxardo maraschino liqueur (optional)


  1. Muddle cherries in the bottom of cocktail shaker until fruit is broken down and juices are released. Add rum, lime juice, honey, bitters, and maraschino liqueur, if desired. Fill with ice and shake until chilled, 20 to 30 seconds. Strain into a chilled stemmed glass. Garnish with lime slice.
