Quick Facts
- We are one of the longest continually-operating orchards in the entire state of VT.
- The current owner, Bill Suhr, purchased this orchard in 1998 when he was 27 years old, with the help of the Vermont Land Trust.
- We have 300 planted acres of fruit trees.
- Our farm is almost entirely solar powered!
- All of our fruit is either ecologically grown and third-party certified by the IPM institute or organically-grown and certified by VOF
- 100,000+ bushels of ecologically grown apples are typically harvested in a season.
- We deliver fresh fruit and farm goods all over VT and in parts of MA, Upstate NY, & NYC
- We employ over 35 full-time staff, plus a crew of ~50 Jamaicans that return seasonally.
- In 2020, we acquired the neighboring Douglas Orchards in Shoreham.
